Seeing otters in the wild never gets old. I’ve spent countless hours with tired eyes and a stiff neck, scanning the water for the telltale signs of these elusive creatures. From urban otters in Edinburgh to those along the shores of Orkney’s lochs, they’re one of the most exciting species to encounter and photograph in Scotland.
